Summary:
Eric
Smallridge was drinking and driving and while driving got in a car crash and
killed two people who are Megan & Lisa. They sentenced him 22 years in
prison for 2nd degree manslaughter. But then Rene who was the mother
of both the girls told the judge to take half away so instead of 22 years he
will serve 11 years in prison. She did that because she forgives him. She said “the
only way to heal is to forgive.” If she didn’t forgive she would have been an
old lady filled with anger so she didn’t want that. Eric & Renee went to
high schools to share a message and tell kids to not drink and drive.
