Duties and
Responsibilities: Professional drifting championship
series. The series consists of a seven round championship played out at race
tracks across the United States. Judged on execution and style, rather than who
finishes the course in the fastest time, Formula Drift brings together
traditional racing and extreme sports.
Salary:
Formula Drift driver’s salary solely depends on the number of sponsors the team
owner can attract. The drivers salary is usually worked out between the team
owner and the driver. Obviously, the more publicity the driver/ team gets the better the pay.
Most of the time, the publicity drivers get is based on their performance in
the series and also on past successes in motorsports. Education:
1.)
Compete
in an authorized Formula DRIFT ProAm Series
where the top ranking drivers will receive an automatic license.
2.)
File
a petition. The licensing committee will review your petition based on various
criteria including , past results and experience in competition drifting.
